Faith Formation Vision Statement
Saint Luke Parish Faith Formation Program seeks to provide opportunities for children and adults to grow in their knowledge of God and the Catholic Faith, prepare for and celebrate the sacraments and liturgy of the church, and fulfill their baptismal call to holiness in family, church, and society.

EVENT DATES 2025-2026
Family Retreats are offered 5 times during the year and there will be three chances to sign up for each one of them (except the Teaching Mass and October Event). At least one parent must be present. ALL children are welcome, even if not in our Faith Formation Program. Meals will be included at all Family Retreats except for October 18th. Families are required to attend THREE OF THE FIVE Family Retreats.
Growing in Faith Events are smaller family events that are “shorter” and will usually be offered one time. We ask you to pick TWO of these events during the year to go to as a family. At least one parent must be present. ALL children are welcome, even if not in our Faith Formation Program.
FAMILY RETREAT DATES (PLEASE ATTEND THREE, MEAL INCLUDED)
- Saturday, October 18th at St. Aloysius Formation Building. Show up ANYTIME in the hours between 9:00-3:00. Plan to stay for 90 minutes upon arrival.
- Friday December 5th from 5:30-8:30 OR Saturday December 6th from 9:00am-12:00pm, or 12:30-3:30pm (Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner included with the event at St. Aloysius Church)
- Friday February 20th from 5:30-8:30 OR Saturday February 21st from 9:00-12:00 or 12:30-3:30 (Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner included at St. Aloysius Church)
- Sunday March 1st 4:00-7:00-Teaching Mass with Pizza Afterward During Lent at St. Dominic Church
- Friday March 27th from 5:30-8:30 OR Saturday March 28th from 9:00-12:00 OR 12:30-3:30 (Breakfast, lunch, or dinner included at St. Aloysius Church)
GROWING IN FAITH DATES (SMALLER ONE TIME EVENTS, PLEASE ATTEND 2, SNACKS AVAILABLE AT MOST EVENTS)
- Monday September 8th Nativity of Mary 5:00-6:30 St. Dominic Church
- Every 1st Friday of the month is a Children’s Rosary at St. Dominic Church 5:00 (limit to going only one time)
- Every Wednesday Evening 6:00-7:00 Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Aloysius Church. It is a quiet time of prayer in the church, a great time to read spiritual reading, work on homework, basically anything that is quiet. ( See Bruce in the front of the Church to sign form. Limit one time for a Growing in Faith Event)
- Sunday November 2nd Day of the Dead Prayer service 5:30-7:30 St. Dominic (potluck dinner, please bring a picture of a deceased loved one with you)
- Tuesday December 9th 6:00-7:30 “Figures of the Nativity” talk with Guest Speaker from Holy Family Retreat Center Noell Terranova-Bring your favorite figurine from your Nativity Set to St. Dominic.
- Friday February 27th-7:00-8:00 Shadow Stations of the Cross
- Passion Play at St. Luke Catholic School-go any night 7:00-9:00 During Holy Week
- Good Friday April 3rd 7:00-8:30- Stations of the Cross and Tenebrae Service St. Aloysius
- Sunday May 4th May Crowning 6:00-7:30 St. Luke Catholic School Property by the Mary Statue

Seating at our family events is limited, so please sign up as soon as possible and check back here on this page periodically for cancellations on the signups if any room comes up. We unfortunately cannot increase seating for any of the events as the number we have is max capacity for each location. Please choose THREE Family Retreats and TWO Growing in Faith Events (you are welcome to come to as many as you want, though!)

CHILDREN’S ROSARY IS THE FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 5:00 PM AT ST. DOMINIC CHURCH, THERE IS NO SIGN UP REQUIRED, JUST GO AND TAKE A SIGN IN SHEET AND TURN IT IN DURING CLASS
ADORATION IS EVERY WEDNESDAY AT ST. ALOYSIUS CHURCH FROM 6:00-7:00. PLEASE TAKE A SIGN IN SHEET FROM BRUCE AT THE FRONT OF THE CHURCH AT THE END AND HAND IT IN AT CLASS TIME, NO SIGN UP REQUIRED
